Charles Shemwell

Mr. Charles Franklin Shemwell, age 77 of Big Rock, TN, passed away Friday, November 20, 2020 at Tennova Healthcare Clarksville. He was born August 16, 1943 in Hopkinsville, KY, to the late Robert Earl and Ruby Marie Chaplin Shemwell.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his brother, Ray Shemwell, and sisters, Nancy Wallace, Anna Ruth Shemwell, Daisy Shamwell, and Imogene Joiner. He is survived by his loving children, Jimmy Shemwell of Big Rock, and Marie Waynick of Dover; step daughter, Tammy Pace, Clarksville, TN; sisters, Carol Cothran, Dover, Brenda Moreland, Hartsville, TN, and Louise Lee, AL, seven grandchildren, and 16 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 4:00 – 7:00 pm on Tuesday, November 24 and from 1:00 – 2:00 on Wednesday, November 25 at Anglin Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, November 25 at Anglin Funeral Home with Pastor Jim Robbins officiating. Burial to follow in the Smith Cemetery, Big Rock, TN. His family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
