Charles “Don” Shaver, age 81 of Stewart County, passed away at Cloria Oaks Post-Acute and Rehabilitation Center, Palmyra, TN April 25, 2021. Don was born October 22, 1939 the son of the late Edward and Florence Shaver Layton.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Velma Gafford Shaver; sisters, Thelma Hoxsey and Helen Chronister.
He is survived by his loving daughter, Lisa and Kevin Finn of Richmond, KY; grandchildren, Grant, Blake, Reid; and sister, Loretta Lewis, Benton,KY.
Visitation will be Tuesday, April 27, 2021 beginning at 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm at Anglin Funeral Home. Funeral service will be at 2:00 pm at Anglin Funeral Home, Dover, TN with Bro. Joe Shannon officiating the service.
Private burial will be at Hillcrest Cemetery, Dover, TN at a later date.
