Charles Miller

Mr. Charles ‘Chuck” Miller, age 73, of Bumpus Mills, TN, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 30, 2025, at Alive Hospice in Nashville, TN. He was born on March 24, 1951, the beloved son of the late Donald and Mary Blackwell Miller.

Chuck proudly served our country in the U.S. Army for eight years. Following his military service, he worked for many years as a Wildlife Guide with the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA). An avid outdoorsman, Chuck loved fishing and hunting. He also enjoyed spending time with his family, often watching a good western on TV. Above all, Chuck was a devoted father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend to many.

In addition to his parents, Chuck was preceded in death by his brothers, Don and Melvin Miller.

He is survived by his special friend, Georgianna F. Miller; his son, Francis R. Miller (Deborah); his daughters, Melinda Lobello (Steve) and Stacey Copas; his brothers, Chris Miller (Cheryl) and Tom Miller (Carol); his sisters, Phyllis Whitehead and Marilyn Austin; special friends, Ed Grooms and Little Jack and wife, Christa; 19 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

A visitation and funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 4, 2025, at Anglin Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 12:00 PM, followed by the funeral service at 2:00 PM with Brian Grasty officiating. Burial will take place at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, February 5, 2025, at the Kentucky Veterans West Cemetery in Hopkinsville, KY, with the American Legion serving as pallbearers.
