Charles Lockwood

Charles Edward Lockwood, 84, Dover, died Thursday, February 4, 2010, at his residence. The funeral will be held at 11:00 am Monday at Anglin Funeral Home with Rev. David Whitehead officiating. Burial will be in Taylor's Chapel Cemetery, Dover, TN. Visitation will be from 4-8:00 pm Sunday at Anglin Funeral Home.
A Masonic Service will be held 7:00 pm Sunday at Anglin Funeral Home.Anglin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. He was born Dec.21, 1925 in Granite City, IL son of the late Chuck and Hester Fitzhugh Lockwood. Mr. Lockwood was a retired wood and plastic model maker for General Motors and a U.S. Navy and Marine veteran serving in both the WWII and Korean conflict.
He preceded in death by his wife, Martha Burgess Lockwood and son, Bobby Lockwood. Survivors include his sons, Rev. Dr. Edward Lockwood, Ponca City, OK and Charles R. Lockwood, Dover, TN; brother, Bernard Lockwood, Franklin, TN; sisters, Agnes Randant and Margie Sykes, bother of Dover, TN, Opal Dale, Buchanan, TN and six grandchildren.
