Cecil Mathis

Mr. Cecil Mathis,age 83,of Dover,passed away March 17,2011 at Erin,Tn.Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday,March 20,2011 at Fairview Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be on Sunday from 1:00 till service time on Sunday. He is survived by his wife,Birdie Luffman Mathis of Dover, Sons Louis Mathis of Erin and Ed,Billy,and Randy Mathis of Dover,two daughters Kaye Mathis of Cadiz,KY and Norma Cook of Dover,and a brother James Mathis of Paris,TN , 9 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.A Half brother John Mathis of Indian Mound,half sister Susie Zell of Clarksville and a step sister Mary Nunley of Cadiz. He was preceded by his parents Samuel and Elizabeth Knight Mathis, a son Randy Mathis and three sisiters Maxine Earhart,Dorothy Johnson and Ortha Page.
