It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Carolyn G. Darnell, a woman whose strength, resilience, and boundless generosity left an indelible mark on all who were fortunate enough to cross her path. Carolyn, aged 85, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on April 29, 2024. Born on August 06, 1938 in Dover, TN, Carolyn was the embodiment of toughness, hard work, and generosity.
From her early years, Carolyn was a force to be reckoned with. She balanced multiple careers with the responsibilities of raising a family, alone, her work ethic and motherly love was unparalleled. She always put the needs of others before her own. Despite the challenges she faced, Carolyn never faltered in her commitment to her family. Her resolve in the face of adversity was a source of inspiration and strength for everyone around her.
There was no limit to her kindness; she would give everything she had to help the people that she loved. Carolyn's legacy is not just in the work she did or the challenges she overcame, but in the many lives she sacrificed to change. As we say goodbye to this remarkable woman, we are reminded of the impact one individual can have through sheer determination and love. Carolyn may have left this world, but her spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those who loved her.
She is proceeded in death by 3 sons, Ricky Miller, Mickel Miller, and Timmy Miller.
She is Survived in death by sons Junior Miller (Betty), Jerry Miller (Charlene). Daughters Debra Krafft and Dana Johnson (Timm). Multiple grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great-grandchildren.
A visitation will be held at Anglin Funeral Home Chapel on May 7, 2024 beginning at 11:00 am and continuing until the funeral service at 1:00 pm with Bro. Christopher Page officiating. Burial will follow at Wallace Cemetery, Dover TN. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
