Caroline Douglas

Mrs. Caroline Douglas, age 83, of Dover, TN, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, at Dover Care Center.

She was born on October 22, 1942, the daughter of Ralph and Neta Wright Clemons; and stepfather, J.W. Connell

Caroline was a faithful Christian who truly loved others. She shared that love with countless children during her years of service in the school system as a cafeteria worker. Caroline loved her family deeply and cherished times when everyone could gather together to share meals and create memories that will last a lifetime.

She was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who embraced a simple life, generously sharing her love with everyone she met.

In addition to her parents and stepfather, she is preceded in death by her beloved husband, James G. Douglas; sons, James G. Douglas, III and Calmer L. Douglas.

Caroline leaves behind her devoted children, daughter, Debi Allen (Ronny) and son, Joe Douglas (Penny).

A funeral service will be held in her hometown of Arcadia, Florida. She will be laid to rest beside her husband at Joshua Creek Cemetery in Arcadia, Florida.
