Carol Brake

Ms. Carol Brake, age 83 of Clarksville, TN was called home to be with the Lord on March 29, 2023 at Tennova Medical Center, Clarksville, TN. She was born in Stewart County, TN on August 26, 1939, the beloved daughter of the late Cecil Crow and Lela Bell Anglin Richardson. Carol was a member of Long Creek Church of the Nazarene. She was seamstress for many years, retiring from Carhartt Factory in Dover, TN. After retirement, she enjoyed quilting for her family and friends. She was very famous for her banana pudding. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister. She was also a loving step-mother, step-grandmother and step-great grandmother. She leaves behind special family and friends, including Aunt Dorothy Anglin Crockarell and friends; Lou and Jenny Rittenberry.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband; Eldon Wallace and sister; Joyce Acuna.

She is survived by her husband; Samuel Brake of Clarksville, TN, daughter; Debbie Gann (Randy) of McEwen, TN; grandson; Chris Gann (Jennifer), granddaughter; Kayla Gann (Todd Wertz), brothers; Johnny Crow of Franklin, OH, Kelly Crow of Houma, LA, sister; Mary Nell Tarter of Dover, TN, great grandchildren; Calder Gann, Ainsley Gann, Malachi Gann, and Holden Wertz, step-brothers; Dallas Richardson of Clarksville, TN and Walter Richardson of Houma, LA, step-sister, Shirley Wallace, and half sister, Nelda Glande, step-children; Todd Brake (Ingrid) of Floral City, FL, Becky Seay (Chuck) of Mobile AL, Candy Hill (Gene) of Clarksville, TN, 7 step-grandchildren and 14 step-great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held Saturday, April 1, 2023 at 2:00 pm at Anglin Funeral Home with Bro. Jonathan Gann and Chris Gann officiating. Visitation will be held on Saturday beginning at 11:00 am and continue until the hour of the funeral service. Burial will follow at Stewart County Memorial Gardens. Those serving as pallbearers are Sean Tarter, John Tarter, Billy Gray, Charlie Seay, Chuck Seay and Barry Brake.
