Carmel Lee Chapman

Mr. Carmal Lee Chapman, age 81, of Dover, TN, passed away peacefully at his home on March 1, 2026. He was born on June 29, 1944, in Maryville, TN, the son of Henry and Margie Sparks Chapman.

Carmal, fondly known as C.L., was a humble man who shared his love with everyone. He enjoyed a simple life, visiting with friends and taking small trips with his PDL friends and caregivers. One never had to question his devotion to his friends; he was always easygoing and enjoyed being with others, making memories that will last a lifetime. Carmal loved the Lord and was baptized as a young man in the Catholic Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers: Clayton, Clinton, Cleatis, Ralph, Claude, and Clyde.

Carmal is survived by his sister, Janie Chapman of Maryville, TN, and four nieces.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, March 5, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at Anglin Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2026, at Mountain View Church of Christ Cemetery in Maryville, TN.
