Carline Harrison

Ms. Carline Harrison, age 89 of Dover, TN was called home to be with the Lord on July 21, 2023 at her residence with her loving family by her side. She was born on March 21, 1934 in Indian Mound, TN the beloved daughter of the late Christopher Columbus and Donie Elizabeth Taylor Atkins. Ms. Carline was the owner and operator of several restaurants throughout the years. She recently worked at The Restaurant Hwy 79 making fried pies and other delicious deserts. She also worked at Acme Boot as a seamstress. Ms. Carline was humbled to do God’s work and witness to others. She loved the Lord and set an example for others to follow. Ms. Carline was a servant and member of Apostolic Pentecostal House of Prayer, Tennessee Ridge, TN.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Horace D. Harrison; sons, Roger Harrison, Bobby Harrison and Scotty Harrison; brother, Johnny Atkins and Chris Atkins; sisters; Myrtle Heflin, Tommie Austin, Robbie Castile and Becky Castile.

She leaves behind her loving family, son, Johnny Castile and wife Teresa; 9 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, 5 great-great grandchildren, a host of nieces and nephews and many great friends.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 23, 2023 from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Anglin Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will resume on Monday, July 24, 2023 at 9:00 am and continue until the funeral service at 11:00 am with Bro. Tony Wallace and Bro. Charlie Mathis officiating. Burial will follow at Harrison Cemetery, 2691 Indian Mound Rd, Woodlawn, TN. Those serving as pallbearers are Jeff Harrison, Cody Harrison, Stoney Harrison, Brandon Harrison, Garrett Harrison, John March, Charles Austin and Timmy Cook.
