Carlene Watkins

Carlene Watkins, 92, Bumpus Mills, TN, died Monday, March 22, 2010, at Manor House of Dover. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday at Greenhill Cemetery with Tony Chester officiating. Burial will be in Greenhill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:30am-1:30pm Wednesday at Anglin Funeral Home at Anglin Funeral Home.
Anglin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. She was born June 2, 1917 in Stewart Co., TN daughter of the late Joe and Mavis Wallace Lewis. Mrs. Watkins was a retired seamstress with the Civil Service and attended New Hope Church of God. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Boyd Watkins and ten brothers and sisters. Survivors include her sons, Donald Ray Watkins (Kay), Bumpus Mills, Freddie Gale Watkins (Pina), Clarksville; brother, Billy Joe Lewis, Kalamazoo, MI; sisters, Loretta Kennedy, Clarksville; grandchildren, Donald R. Watkins, II (Suzanne), Eric L. Watkin (Robyn), Rebecca Lynn Watkins and three greatchildren. Pallbearers will be the members of the Stewart County Fire and Stewart County EMS. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Bumpus Mills Fire Dept., c/o F&M Bank, P.O. Box 31, Bumpus Mills, TN 37028.
