Carl Daniel Brollier, Sr., 81, Dover, TN went home to glory on Saturday, April 13, 2013 at his residence. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 16, 2013 at 2:00 pm at Anglin Funeral Home with Rev. Paul Edwards officiating. Burial will follow in the Heflin Cemetery. Visitation will be on Monday, April 15, 2013 from 5-7:00 pm and Tuesday, April 16, 2013 from 1-2:00 pm at Anglin Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be family and friends. He was born on June 21, 1931 in Cuyahoga Falls, OH son of the late Bert Wayne Brollier and Mabel Marie Gatton Brollier. He had two brothers, Ralph Brollier and Vernon Brollier (Gloria), New Haldon, NJ, and three sisters, Naomi Ford, St. Charles, MO, Esther Smith (Richard), Uniontown, OH and Ruth Brollier. Mr. Brollier graduated from Cuyohoga Falls High School in 1951, entered in the U.S. Navy on September 25, 1951 and served on the USS Walton DD361 during the Korean War and received credit for China Service, Korean Service, United Nations and National Defense. In 1959 he graduated from Southwestern Assemblies of God College of Waxahachie, TX. He was ordained as a minister with the Assemblies of God and pastored the Patuxent River Assemblies of God Church in Lexington Park, MD until May 1965. After 30 years, Dan retired from American Airlines and moved to Dover, TN where he was a lay speaker with the United Methodist Church. He was also an active Gideon for a number of years. On June 9, 1956 he married June Deets of Baltimore, MD. They had four children, Ruth Brollier Britt (Bob), Pasadena, MD, Carl D. Brollier, Jr. (Sharon), Clarksville, TN, Debbie Brollier Moore (Lanny), New Smyrna Beach, FL and Joel N. Brollier, Dallas, TX; eight grandchildren, Tina Britt, Susan Brollier, Joshua Moore, Joshua Brollier, Beau Moore, Brent Moore, Nicole Brollier and Jarod Brollier; five great grandchildren, Alex Britt, Joshua Moore, Samuel Moore, Annabella Moore and Liam Daniel Moore. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Ralph and sister, Ruth.
