Brooxie Myers, age 84, of Dover, passed away, Friday, October 2, 2015 at Gateway Medical Center. The funeral service will be at 2:00 pm on Monday at Anglin Funeral Home, burial will be in the Heflin Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00 am until the time of service on Monday at Anglin Funeral Home. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
She was born July 18, 1931 in Stewart County, TN, daughter of the late Earl Gates and Byrdie Mae Elliott Joiner. She is preceded in death by her husband, Douglas Earl Myers, and two sisters.
Mrs. Myers is survived by her sons, Archie Myers (Lori), Dover, TN, James Myers (Elise), Clarksville, TN, daughter, Joyce Costin (Tim), Dover, four sisters, 15 grandchildren, and 24 great grandchildren.
