Brenda Barrett

Brenda Barrett, 67 of Dover, TN passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 9, 2025 at her residence with her loving family by her side. Born on February 4, 1958 the daughter of Reams and Shirley Nolen Lemons in Houston County, TN.

Brenda was a member of Carlisle Freewill Baptist Church. She cherished the moments spent with family and friends, especially during camping trips and horseback riding at Wranglers Campground in LBL. Brenda had a deep love for her family, and cooking for gatherings brought her immense joy. Her husband, Terry, with whom she shared 47 wonderful years of marriage, was not only her partner but also her best friend. Together, they enjoyed a fulfilling and beautiful life.

She is preceded by her parents, Reams and Shirley Lemons; nephews, Chaz Feathers and Matthew Barrett.

Brenda leaves behind her loving and cherished family; husband, Terry Barrett; daughter, Ashley Barrett; sister, Cindy Zellers; and brothers, Donnie Lemons (Linda), Bill Lemons (Kim), and Jerry Lemons.

A visitation will be held at Anglin Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 12, 2025 from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm. Visitation will resume on Thursday, March 13, 2025 at 9:00 am and continue until the funeral service at 11:00 am with burial to follow at Stewart County Memorial Gardens, Dover, TN. Serving as pallbearers are her nephews, Justin and Adam Zellers, Josh Lemons, Chris, Cort and Cole Barrett.
