Bonnie Wilson

Mrs. Bonnie J. Wilson, age 90, of Bumpus Mills, TN, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 15, 2026, with her loving family by her side.

She was born on July 28, 1935, in Stewart County, TN, the daughter of the late Berry and Birdie Vaughn Wallace.

Bonnie was a loving and devoted mother who cherished having her family home to enjoy a good, home-cooked meal. She found great joy in spending time with her many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. Working in her flower gardens brought her many hours of happiness, and she loved sharing their beauty with others.

Bonnie was a faithful servant who loved the Lord. She was a longtime member of Bumpus Mills Missionary Baptist Church. She dedicated many years of her life as a seamstress at ACME Boot Company, where she enjoyed her work and the fellowship of her coworkers.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughters, Helen Dianne Marquess and Cindy Heaton, and her brothers, Lacy Wallace and Dean Wallace.

Left to cherish her memory are her son, Barry Wilson (Audra) of McEwen, TN; daughters, Bernice Taylor (Bobby) and Lana Hinson (Clayton), both of Dover, TN, Loretta Nichols (Marshall) of Erin, TN, and Angel Galloway (Chris) of Cedar Grove, TN; 11 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, January 17, 2026 at 1:00 pm at Bumpus Mills Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery with Bro. Brian Taylor officiating. Serving as pallbearers are Don Shelton, Marshall Nichols, Brian Hyde, Brad Curvin, Landon Juckett and Desmond O'Neal.
