Bobby Darnell, Jr., 56 of Indian Mound, TN passed away peacefully at his home on October 1, 2026 with his family by his side. Born in Clarksville, TN on May 8, 1970 the son of Bobby and Shirley Darnell.
Bobby's life revolved around his family and God. He cherished having his children home and making lasting memories together on the farm. Farming was more than a job to Bobby, it was his passion and a true reflection of who he was.
He especially enjoyed tending to his tobacco fields and took great pride in the work he put into them. He also raised cattle and worked the hayfields, always willing to do whatever needed to be done. Bobby was not afraid of hard work and found great satisfaction in caring for the land he loved. His dedication, strong work ethic, and love for farming were an important part of his life and a legacy he leaves behind.
In his spare time, Bobby loved watching sports, anything involving a ball. His favorite teams were the Tennessee Vols and the Tennessee Titans. Bobby also had a passion for going to the gym, where he enjoyed working out, unwinding, and "working the irons."
Bobby is proceeded in death by his mother, Shirley Watson Darnell and son Devin Brett Darnell.
He leaves behind his devoted and loving family, wife of 23 years, Sarah Darnell; daughter, Britney Ann Darnell; sons, Brice Darnell (Sierra), Bobby Glenn Darnell, III (Lexie Smith), Jasper Darnell; sisters, Teresa Biemesderfer (Dewayne) and Angie Biemesderfer (Johnny); grandchildren, Jace Darnell, Mayah Darnell, and Walker Darnell.
A visitation will be held at Wilee's Chapel Church on Saturday, October 3, 2026 from 1:00 pm until 4 pm. Visitation will resume at the church on Sunday, October 4, 2026 at 12:00 pm continuing until the funeral service at 2:00 pm with Bro. Brice Darnell and Bro. Joe Burney officiating. Burial will follow at Wilee's Chapel Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers are Brice, Bobby, and Jasper Darnell, Robert Jackson, Clark Johns, III, and Jarod Watson.
