Birdie Biggs

Birdie Mae Markin Biggs, 95 of Dover, TN passed away on Tuesday, May 21, 2013 at Manor House of Dover. Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 24, 2013 at 2:00 pm at Anglin Funeral Home with Roland Mudge officiating. Burial will follow in the Byrd cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday, May 24, 2013 from 11:00 am until the hour of service at Anglin Funeral Home. She was born June 6, 1917 in Stewart Co., TN daughter of the late Ben and Liza Cole Sexton. Mrs. Biggs was a homemaker and caregiver and a member of Corinth Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Ray Markin, daughter, Carol Wyatt, three brothers and seven sisters. Survivors include her daughter, Rose Myers, Big Rock, TN; four grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Pallbearers will be Tyler Wyatt, Dillard Wyatt, Shawn Myers, Bret Harris, Landon Norrod, Jim Glasgow and Norman Gene Keel.
