Billy Welker

Billy R. Welker, 84, of Indian Mound, TN passed away on Monday, August 5, 2013 at his residence. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 7, 2013 at 11:00 am at Anglin Funeral Home with Bro. Roland Marshall officiating. Burial will follow in the Welker Cemetery, Indian Mound. Visitation will be on Tuesday, August 6, 2013 from 4:00 -7:00 pm at Anglin Funeral Home. He was born August 17, 1928 in Stewart Co., TN son of the late Obie Earl and Altie Nolen Welker. Mr. Welker was retired from the State of Tennessee, ferry boat pilot, farmer, 3rd degree mason and a member of the Cumberland City Masonic Lodge. Survivors include his wife, Virginia Sue Parchman Welker, Indian Mound, TN; daughter, Billie Sue Welker Lemons (David), Indian Mound, TN; grandchildren, David Bennett Lemons (Traci), Indian Mound, TN, Kelli Katherine Lemons Miller (Jerry Wayne), Indian Mound, TN and two great grandchildren, Emmaline Grace Miller and Adria Kilynn Lemons. Pallbearers will be Freddie Bowles, John Goodlett, Ronald Grizzard, Jerome Buchanan, Robert Allen and Neil Finch. Honorary pallbearers will be Harold Taylor, Donald Covington, Larry Burcham, Johnny Bryant, Terry Bowles, Tommy Bowles and Terry Kelley.
