Billy Givens

Billy Joe Givens, age 65 of Indian Mound, TN was called home to be with the Lord Wednesday, August 25, 2021. He was born September 22, 1955 the son of the late George and Dorothy Givens. Billy was a hard worker and provider for his family retiring after 38 years from the Trane Company. He loved hunting and fishing with his family and dear friends. He was a faithful servant, a member and Deacon at Cross Creek Baptist Church in Indian Mound, TN. Billy was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and loyal friend to many.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two children, Joe Givens and Jane Givens. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 48 years, Norma Earhart Givens, daughter; Paula Jobe (Chris) of Dover, TN, son; Billy W. Givens (Brandie) of Indian Mound, TN, siblings; Shirley Goins (Alan), Clarksville, TN, Henry Givens (Beverly), Clarksville, TN, Rosa Wallace (Neal), Bumpus Mills, TN, Betty Miller (Junior), Dover, TN, Ed Givens (Debbie), Dover, TN, David Givens, Big Rock, TN, grandchildren; Taylor Neblett (Ben), Jordan Armstrong (Cody), Austin Givens, Holden Givens (Kristen), Milynn Morris (Lane), Katie Jobe, Karee (Belle) Jobe, Kayla Jobe, great-grandchildren; Lillian McCarty, Jaylee Armstrong, Jace Neblett, Ava Neblett, Addie Armstrong, River Armstrong, Lindsey Neblett and Renley Armstrong.

Visitation will be Sunday, August 29, 2021 from 5:00pm until 8:00 pm at Anglin Funeral Home. Visitation will resume on Monday, August 30, 2021 at 9:00 am and continue until the hour of the funeral service at 11:00 am at Anglin Funeral Home with Bro. Kody Dowell officiating. Burial will follow at the Hall Cemetery in Indian Mound, TN. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. The Deacons of Cross Creek Baptist Church will serve as Honorary Pallbearers.
