Beverly Hawkins

Mrs. Beverly Wallace Hawkins, age 68, of Big Rock, TN, was called home to be with the Lord on Monday, July 21, 2025, at St. Thomas Midtown in Nashville, TN, following a brief illness.

She was born in Erin, TN, on September 7, 1956, the beloved daughter of the late Corbett and Virgie Wallace.

Beverly dedicated 38 years of her life to her work as a teller at F&M Bank. She was a faithful servant of the Lord and a devoted member of New Hope Church of God. A talented and passionate piano player, Beverly had a gift for bringing joy through music. Alongside her husband Wayne, she shared her musical talents as a member for of the Lighthouse Group for 50 wonderful years, performing at church homecomings and community events throughout the region.

After retirement, she enjoyed traveling and seeing new places with her husband which included, beaches, Alaska, and cruses to various destinations. She and Wayne enjoyed a family trip to Walt Disney with Justin, Kristen and all the grandchildren. Seeing Disney through the eyes of the grandchildren was the highlight of the trip. The family will treasure the memories they made together.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Corbett and Virgie Wallace; her brother, George Corbett Wallace, Jr.; and her sisters, Pamela Sykes and Gladys Jean Wallace.

Those left to cherish her memory include her loving and devoted husband of 50 years, Wayne Hawkins, whom she married on November 7, 1974; her son, Justin Hawkins (Kristen); her brother, Mitchell Todd Wallace; and her treasured grandchildren, Grace Skye Hawkins, Zelda Rose Hawkins and Brynlee Massey.

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 25, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 1:00 p.m. at Anglin Funeral Home, with Bro. Jay Bragdon officiating. Burial will follow at Jackson Cemetery. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
