Bertha Mabel Vires, age 100 of Dover, TN, passed away, Friday, March 17, 2017 at Diversicare of Dover. She was born March 23, 1916 in Stewart County, TN, daughter of the late Lawrence and Maude Ross Williams.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her daughter, Gladys Vires, brother, Roscoe Williams, and sister, Dorothy Walston. Survivors include her son and his wife, Albert and Loretta Vires, of Dover, TN, grandchild, Pat (Marlin) Grimes, great-grandsons, Tracy Lehman, and Shawn Lehman Grimes.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday, March 19, 2017 at Heflin Cemetery with Bro. Garrett Milliken officiating. Arrangements have been entrusted to Anglin Funeral Home.
