Berle Travis

Berle Dean Travis, Sr. 68, Indian Mound, TN passed away on Monday, December 16, 2013 at his residence. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 18, 2013 at 1:00 pm at Anglin Funeral Home with Pastor Anthony Daley and Bro. Danny Austin officiating. Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery, Indian Mound, TN. Visitation will be on Tuesday, December 17, 2013 from 5-8:00 pm and on Wednesday, December 18, 2013 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Anglin Funeral Home. He was born August 2, 1945 in Granite City, IL son of the late Marvin Travis (Harriett) and Eva Lureen Travis Haggard (Buddy). Mr. Travis was retired from the Local Carpenters Union #223, Nashville, TN and attended the Tabernacle, Indian Mound, TN. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Larry and Melvin Travis. Survivors include his wife, Janice Lehman Travis, Indian Mound, TN; sons, Berle Travis, Jr. (Sheryl), Woodlawn, TN, Mark Travis, Indian Mound, TN and Doris Travis, Indian Mound, TN; daughter, Sherry Watson (Jeff), Dover, TN; sisters, Peggy Watts (Jim), Edmond, OK and Sue Ann McDaniel, Phoenix, AZ; twelve grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Kerry Lehman, Justin Daley, Virgil Rorie, Ed Givens, Randy Wallace and Jimmy Lehman, Jr. Honorary pallbearers will be Ricky Keel, Larry Burcham and Mervin Crockarell.
