Barbara Hawkins

Ms. Avieoun Hawkins, age 81, of Big Rock, Tennessee, passed away on November 27, 2019 at her residence. She was born April 3, 1938 in Big Sandy, TN, to the late Finis and Bertha Jones McPeake. Ms. Hawkins was a member of New Hope Church of God and worked for many years at Acme Boot. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, John “Kenneth” Hawkins, son, Kenneth Ray Hawkins, sister, Obera Williard, and grandson, Johnnie Shoulder. Survivors include, son, Bob Hawkins (Debbie), Big Rock, TN, daughter, Julie Shoulder, Big Rock, TN, four grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Sunday, December 1, 2019 at Anglin Funeral Home and burial to follow at the Castile-Griffin-Taylor Cemetery, Big Rock, TN. Visitation will be 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm on Sunday, December 1st. Pallbearers will be Brain, Garret, James, and Kevin Hawkins, Jason and Will Page.
