Mrs. Barbara K. Baggett, age 64, of Dover, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 27, 2026, at Vanderbilt Healthcare Clarksville.
Born on August 16, 1961, in Clarksville, Tennessee, Barbara was the daughter of the late Raymond T. Tolley and Helen Tolley Borens. She was also preceded in death by her dad, Joe Borens; her beloved son, Christopher Porter; and her brother, Michael Tolley.
Barbara had the heart of a true caregiver. She devoted 36 years to serving the elderly through her work in healthcare, ultimately retiring as Executive Director of Morningside in Paris, Tennessee. Her compassion, kindness, and dedication touched countless lives throughout her career.
Outside of work, Barbara found joy in life. She loved fishing, watching birds, planting flowers, and taking pride in seeing them bloom. She cherished time with family and loved everyone she met, but her greatest joy was being "Mom" and "Grandma." Her strong Christian faith guided her life and was a source of strength and comfort to her and those around her.
Barbara leaves behind her loving husband, Kenneth Baggett; her daughter, Kimberley Eckard (Daniel); her daughter-in-law, Samantha Porter; her siblings, Vivian Adams (Woody), James Earl Tolley (Jean), and Raymond T. Tolley; her grandchildren, Austin Porter, Gracie Eckard, Cassie Porter, and Brianna Porter; her stepchildren, Jessica Hawks (Josh), Jodi Nabors (Jack), and Joel Baggett; her half-sisters, Judy Chockley and Sandy Nash; her step-grandchildren, Evan, River, Aligha, Nowell, Addie Bug, Brenna, Carter, and Brack; and her step-great-grandchild, Ka'Mari. She also leaves behind many extended family members and dear friends who will forever cherish her memory.
The family will receive friends on Monday, June 29, 2026, from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. at Anglin Funeral Home. Visitation will continue on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. with Bro. Joe Page and Jason Chandler officiating. Burial will follow in Jackson Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers will be Billy Page, Ryan Porter, Stacy Page, Shane Page, Zack Page, and Cody Porter.
Arrangements are entrusted to Anglin Funeral Home, Dover, Tennessee. The family welcomes online condolences.
