Arthur Sanford

Arthur ‘Bud’ Wagner Sanford, of Indian Mound, TN, passed away, Monday, October 12, 2015. Arthur was born December 31, 1931 in Royal Oak, Michigan, to Emmit (Jack) Lafayette Sanford, of Sailor’s Rest, TN and Mary Mansfield Winfree Sanford, of Palmyra, TN. Arthur served the U.S. Army and retired at Ft. Campbell, KY. He is a veteran of both the Korean and Vietnam Wars.
Arthur is survived by his daughters, Anna ‘Jackie’ Oconnor, Maryann Lavoie, Jackie Lowen, and Susan Johns, son, Mike Eisen, brother, Don Sanford, 12 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife, Ingrid Sanford, daughter, Christine Berning, sisters, Ethyl Endeen, and Jane Norris.
Graveside services will be held at 12:00 pm on Friday, October 16, 2015 at Kentucky Veteran Cemetery West, Hopkinsville, KY. Visitation will be from 5:00 -7:00 pm on Thursday, October 15, 2015 at Anglin Funeral Home, 402 Donelson Parkway Dover, TN.
