Arthur Porter

Mr. Arthur Douglas Porter, age 64 of Dover, Tn passed away on May 2, 2024 at Dover Care Nursing Home. He was born on May 22, 1959 the beloved son of the late Frances Winters. Arthur was a hard worker and retired from the Carpenters Union at TVA. He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a large fan of the Green Bay Packers football team. He was a loving father, son, grandfather, brother and uncle.. Arther attended Hopewell Community Church, Indian Mound, TN. He will be sadly missed by his family and many dear friends.

In addition to his mother, he is preceded in death by a brother, William Porter.

He is survived by his loving daughter, Kristeen Jobe of Dover, TN; granddaughters, Katie Clark, Karee Jobe and Kayla Jobe; sisters, Valada Barber and Royce Neel both of KY; nieces, Nicole, Angela, Jessica and Amy; nephews, Will, Jeff, and Rick; many great nieces and great nephews.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 8, 2024 beginning at 3:00 pm until 5:00 pm at Anglin Funeral Home Chapel. A private burial will be held at Stewart County Memorial Gardens.
