Anne Atkins

Mrs. Anne Atkins, age 79 of Dover, TN was called home to be with the Lord Thursday, December 23, 2021 at Tennova Healthcare, Clarksville, TN with her loving children by her side. She was born May 13, 1942 the beloved daughter of the late Boyd and Sue Allen. Ann loved being around people and lending a helping hand, working as a clerk in a retail store until she retired. She enjoyed spending time in the kitchen preparing a good meal for her family to gather around the table, enjoying the company of their laughter and recalling all the precious memories of growing up. She was a member of the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her beloved husband of over 60 years, Huel Atkins who was called home August 26, 2021 and her brother, Jackie Allen.

Those left behind to cherish her memory, her loving and devoted children, Mickey Atkins, Suzanne Atkins Howell, and Brenda Pinkowsky, brother, Dana Allen, eleven precious grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 12:00 pm Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at the Atkins Cemetery, Old Hwy 79, Dover, TN with Bro. Ryne Lee and Bro. Joe Shannon officiating. Those serving as pallbearers are Mitchell Howell, Daniel Howell, Seth Grasty, Dustin Milliken, Lane Milliken, Dylan Milliken and Jeff Allen.

In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made to Stop Smoking – American Cancer Society.
