Annabeth Bailey

Ms. Annabeth Bailey, age 85, of Dover, passed away Friday, July 24, 2020, at Diversicare of Dover. She was born April 3, 1935 in Stewart County, TN, daughter of the late Henry and Lena Dilday Sykes. She retired from Cumberland Electric Membership Corporation and was a member of the Mt. View Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Annabeth enjoyed life; she always had a smile on her face. She loved everyone and was loved in return.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Wylie Bailey, brothers, Allen Sykes, Grover Sykes, and Erchie Sykes, and her sister, Bonnie Bailey.
Annabeth is survived by her step daughter, Susan Bowers (James), Mt. Carmel, TN, a granddaughter, Kate Bowers, New York, NY, and her sister, Pernie Westerman, Guthrie, KY.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, private services will be held and a celebration of life service will be held at a later date. She will be laid to rest in the Mt. View Cemetery.
