Anna Wynn

Anna Elizabeth ‘Snooky’ Wynn, age 91, of Chattanooga, TN, passed away Sunday, July 3, 2016 at Standifer Place, Chattanooga, TN. She was born November 16, 1924 in Stewart County, TN to James Linnis Byrd and Chrystelia Lewis Byrd Armstrong. Snooky was retired from the Leaf Chronicle and was the editor for the Stewart-Houston Times.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Copas Ralph Wynn, son, Jackie Byrd Wynn, brothers, Terry Byrd and Bobby Byrd.
She is survived by her sister, Peggy Guinn, Clarksville, TN and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be at 2:00 pm Tuesday, July 5, 2016 at Anglin Funeral Home with Rev. George Miller officiating. Visitation will be from 12:00 – 2:00 pm Tuesday at Anglin Funeral Home. She will be laid to rest at Hillcrest Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Will Nicholson, Albert Norris, Vinny Jones, Tom Price, Billy Crockarell, and Chris Price.
