Aaron Mann, 91, passed away on Tuesday, March 12, 2013 at his home in Indian Mound, TN. Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 15, 2013 at 10:00 am at Anglin Funeral Home with Bro. Tom Stone officiating. Burial will follow at the Fairview Cemetery, Indian Mound, TN. Visitation will on Thursday, March 14, 2013 from 4-8:00 pm at Anglin Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be his nephews and special friend, Jim McGee. Honorary pallbearers will be his grandsons and first cousin, E.M. Mann. He was the oldest of six children born to the late Harold B. Mann and Bernice Smith Mann. He was preceded in death by brothers, Paul , Dean and Cornett Mann, all of Indian Mound, TN. Survivors include his wife of almost 71 years, Marie Stone Mann, Indian Mound, TN; daughter, Sherry DeLucca (Ron), Clarksville, TN; two grandsons, Gregory Fields and his daughter, Sophie Fields, Denton, TX and Bradley Fields (Amanda) and their son, Dean Aaron Fields, Clarksville, TN; step granddaughter, Deidre Darden, NC; two sisters, Opal Durham, Nashville, TN and Linda Handley, Hendersonville, TN; five nieces and six nephews. Mr. Mann was a WWII decorated veteran serving in France, Austria and Germany. After war he began working at Clarksville Base (The Bird Cage). After the closer of Clarksville Base, he transferred to the Roads and Ground Division at Ft. Campbell, KY. He retired in 1980. Mr. Mann was a lifelong New York Yankee baseball fan. He raised, trained, and hunted English setter bird dogs. In later years he took in stray cats and loved them all. In lieu of other memorials, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Associations.
