Mrs. Shirley Darlyne Morgan Skyles, age 78, of Bumpus Mills, TN, went to be with the Lord on Friday, June 17, 2022. She was born August 7, 1943 in Stewart County, to the late Robert James Wallace and Telitha Ann Mathis Wallace.

Mrs. Skyles was a hard worker, she worked as a cook at North Stewart Elementary School and Paris Landing State Park and was also a farmer. She was a devoted Christian and was a member of the Bumpus Mills Missionary Baptist Church. Mrs. Skyles loved making people smile, she was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband, Troy Morgan, Sr., second husband, J.L. Skyles, son, Troy Morgan, Jr., daughter Jacqueline Anderson, and brother, Delmus Wallace.
She is survived by her beloved children, William Morgan (Janie), Tristyn Chyenne Morgan; stepson, Rodney Sullivan; brother, Randall Burkley Wallace; sister, Carolyn Darnell; grandchildren, Justin Morgan (Brooke), Jonathan Morgan, Mike Todd Anderson, Randy Lee Anderson, Jennifer Threatt, and Easton Morgan; and great-grandchildren, Caleb, Luke, and Logan Anderson, Roselee Anderson, Ashley and Andrew Threatt.

Visitation for Mrs. Skyles will be Monday, June 20, 2022 from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm at the Bumpus Mills Missionary Baptist Church. The funeral service will be at 1:00 pm at the church with Bro. Jerry Shelton officiating. Burial will be in the Morgan Cemetery, Bumpus Mills, TN. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
