Shirley Clark

Mrs. Shirley F. Clark, age 79, of Bumpus Mills, TN passed away Friday, January 6, 2023 at St. Thomas West, Nashville, TN. She was born April 27, 1943 in Linton, KY, daughter of the late James Plomer Futrell and Mintie Lee Herndon Futrell.

Mrs. Clark was a member of Pugh Flat Baptist Church and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She was a homemaker, who loved caring for her family. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and sister.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, James Carr Clark, son, John Clark, and sister, Shelia Olher. She is survived by her son, Jeff Clark (Sheri) and daughter, Johanna Lee (Scott), grandchildren, Katelyn Clark, Sara Clark, and Jamey Clark.

The funeral service will be Tuesday, January 10, 2023 at 12:00 pm at Anglin Funeral Home with Bro. William Gray and Bro. Russ Thomas officiating. Burial will follow at the Pugh Flat Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday evening from 4:00 – 8:00 pm. Pallbearers will be Jamey Clark, Scott Lee, Tommy Wyatt, Jimmy Wyatt, Booger Watson, Ronnie Atkins, Matt Barnes, and Rick Gillingham.
