Obituary for Ruth Carol Whitworth (Patrick)
Ruth Carol Whitworth, age 83 of Dover, TN passed away September 22, 2020. She was born December 1, 1936 in Tazewell County, VA daughter of the late Leonard Allen and Dorcus Watkins Patrick. Mrs. Whitworth worked at State Farm Insurance for 20 years and was a member of the Ft. Donelson Memorial United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her sons, Robert Whitworth Jr., Michael Whitworth, Steven Whitworth; daughter, Rebecca Guglielmo; nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at the Abbs Valley Baptist Church, 125 Lee St. Bluefield, VA 24605 on October 9, 2020 at 12:00pm with internment to follow at 2:00 pm at the Woodlawn Memorial Park, 3410 Coal Heritage Rd, Bluewell, WV 24701. She will be laid to rest next to her late husband, Robert Whitworth.
