Mrs. Ruth Alidean Sills age 90 of Dover, TN was called home to be with the Lord, December 5, 2021 at Diversicare of Dover, TN. She was born April 23, 1931 the daughter of the late Thomas and Ethel Miles Buckingham. She was a faithful servant, member of Bumpus Mills Church of Christ and a volunteer worker with Friends of the Stewart County Public Library. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and loyal friend to many.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her beloved husband; Carlon Sills, brother; William “Cap” Buckingham, sisters; Pauline Tift, Doris Ryan, Randy Harris, and Clarice Carney.

She is survived by her loving and devoted son; Roger Sills and daughter-in-law; Dimple, grandson; Blake Sills (Elizabeth), great grandson; Eli Sills.

There will be a private graveside service held at Stewart County Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bumpus Mills Church of Christ or Friends of Stewart County Public Library.
