Obituary for Ronetta Crutcher

Ronetta Crutcher, age 85 passed away March 9, 2021 at St. Thomas West. She was born May 2, 1935 the daughter of the late Lewis and Hazel Garner Dill.

She and her husband Gene, owned and operated Crutcher’s Grocery for over 40 years. She loved her animals, was a member of the Red Hat Society, Kiwanis Club, volunteered at the Stewart County Visitor’s Center, and loved traveling; but her greatest love was her family. She was a faithful member of Ft. Donelson United Memorial Methodist Church.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Gene Crutcher.
She is survived by her loving family; daughters, Rhonda Byrd Lay (Bryan), Cheryl Blunk (Robert); grandchildren, Jim Dowdy, Amanda Cook, Mitchell Byrd, Laura Brown (Ryan), Marion Blunk; great grandchildren, Tristan, Jamie, Makayleigh, Jace, Joseph, Jonathan, Kade, Colden, Landon, and Sawyer.

Visitation will be Thursday, March 11, 2021 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm and Friday, March 12, 2021 from 11:00 am until the time of service at 1:00 pm at Anglin Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Don Bailey officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery. Those serving as pallbearers are Jim Dowdy, Mitchell Byrd, Jonathan Byrd, Joseph Blunk, Ryan Brown, and Jace Cook.
