Obituary

Mr. Robert Bruce Whitworth, SM Sgt (Ret) age 83 of Dover, TN, passed away December 26, 2019. He was born June 24, 1936 in Pocahontas, VA, son of the late John Lawson and Hulda Mae Phelps Whitworth. Mr. Whitworth served 30 years in the United States Air Force. He was a member of the Ft. Donelson Memorial United Methodist Church. He was also a lifetime member of the Free and Accepted Masons, member of the Lions Club International, and the Dover Kiwanis International.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth Whitworth, sons, Robert Whitworth, Jr., Michael Whitworth, and Steven Whitworth, daughter, Rebecca Guglielmo, nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, February 8, 2020 at the Pocahontas United Methodist Church, Centre St. Pocahontas, VA 24635.

My father was a good father. The strongest willed man I have ever known. He has changed his address to heaven now and I will miss him so very much. Rest In Peace daddy we are blessed to have known you and pray we will be blessed and see you again in heaven
