Obituary for Millie Lackey
Mrs. Millie Lackey, age 62 of Bumpus Mills, TN passed away on Friday, March 12, 2021 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born September 4, 1958 in Stewart County to the late Frank and Catherine Meadows Hamm.
Millie was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and Mimi. She was a member of the Sunny View Baptist Church. She loved the Lord and He used her as a vehicle to touch as many lives as possible.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Frank Hamm, Jr. and sister, Teresa Sykes.
Survivors include her beloved husband of 24 years, Terry Lackey; children, Gwynn Jones (Vennie), Hailey Lackey, and Justin Lackey; granddaughter, Katie McGee; sisters, Nadine Harber (Carroll), Marie Mathis (Larry), Jo Crow (Roger), Donna Lockhart (Larry), Rosemary Cunningham (Donnie), Cathy James (Kevin), Pam Groves (Paul); brothers, Billy Hamm, Dale Hamm (Donna); and numerous nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, March 16, 2021 at the Sunny View Baptist Church, Clarksville, TN with Pastor Shaun Trescott. Burial will follow in the Sunny View Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 – 8:00 pm on Monday, March 15, 2021 at Anglin Funeral Home and will continue on Tuesday from 11:00 am until the time of service at the church. Pallbearers will be Mitchell Howell, Daniel Howell, Rodney Poling, Andrew Hall, Vennie Jones, Roger Crow, Jr. Chris Vaughn, and Ben Mathis. Larry Hamm will serve as an honorary pallbearer.
