Obituary for Mary Evelyn Smith
Mary Evelyn Smith, 85, of Indian Mound, TN passed away Wednesday, November 2, 2022 at Vanderbilt Medical Center, Nashville, TN. A graveside service will be held Friday, November 4, 10:00 a.m. at Smith Austin Wallace Cemetery, Indian Mound, TN with Rev. Joe Shannon officiating.
Mary was born June 15, 1937, daughter of the late Alvin "Pete" and Beulah Norfleet Smith. She was an active member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. She was retired from Acme Boot Co.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Carl Roy Smith, brothers, Thurston Smith, Aaron Smith, Raymond Smith, William "Bill" Smith, George "Peewee" Elliott and daughter Pam Maus.
Survivors include daughter Ann (Stevie) Ball, son Barry (Eva) Smith, brother James (Helen) Smith, grandchildren
Matthew Page, Keith Ball, Mark (Courtney) Smith, Melissa (Dylan) Oldham, Marshall Smith and great grandchild Stella Drew Smith. Family will serve as pallbearers.
