Lucy Jane Wallace, age 83, of Dover, Tennessee passed away, Tuesday, March 19, 2019, at Signature Healthcare of Erin. She was born June 25, 1935 in Middletown, OH, daughter of the late Harvey and Ellen Link Wallace. Mrs. Wallace was retired from the Stewart County School System, where she worked as a cook. She was a member of the Bethel First Church of God and was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 70 years, Dotson Dean Wallace, brothers, Dale Lee, Lester Wallace, Harrison Wallace, Bobby Wallace, Eugene Wallace, sisters, Sue Lee, and Virginia Heflin, and grandson, Greg Wallace.
Survivors include her sons, Robert Wallace, Dover, TN, David Wallace, Dover, TN, daughters, Melinda Wallace, Dover, TN, and Serena Staggs, Dover, TN, brother, Paul Lee, Waynesville, OH, sister, Darlene Howard, Middletown, OH, five grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren.
The funeral service will be at 2:00 pm on Friday, March 22, 2019 at Anglin Funeral Home with Rev. Lee Wallace officiating, burial will follow in the Page Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 am until the time of service on Friday. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
