Mr. Lawrence Claxton, age 81, of Dover, TN passed away Saturday, July 18. 2020 at his home. He was born December 5, 1938 in Key West, FL, son of the late Clovis and Dorothy Claxton. Mr. Claxton served in the US Air Force. He was a member of the Ft. Donelson Memorial United Methodist Church, the Civil War Singers, and the Kiwanis Club.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Luzette Claxton. Surivors include his son, Lee Claxton, of Florida, brothers, Clovis Claxton and Jeffery Claxton, sister, Jan Gembol, six grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.

Mr. Claxton will be cremated. Arrangements are entrusted to Anglin Funeral Home, Dover, TN.
