An absolute utter shock!!! I have a rescued a dog bc of her. I changed his name to Dexter Jo, in her honor. Heaven needed two more arms to welcome our fur babies over the bridge. Always loved and forever missed.

We moved to Dover back in 2008 on Renee Rd and just a couple of houses up we met Joanne, her husband Donnie and all her beloved furbabies. I will never forget the first time I walked up that way and a little passed her house and being new to the area she up and gave a big hello and welcome to the neighborhood. The day we met she in turn had asked me where we were from because she could hear another accent in addition to both southern and western and I told her we both came from near PA ourselves. Pretty amazing to have know her and Donnie and their beloved furbabies. Joanne was a very caring, loving, amazing, awesome, and blessed friend and Christian as well as her love not just for others, but for all her furbabies and all furbabies out there and around. I will never forget you Joanne. My heart aches for you, for you family, for Donnie, for your furbabies, and for all those who know and love you too. Gone but not forgotten Joanne. Taken too soon, but one day we will all see each other in God's Heavenly Kingdom.

Joanne was such a dear sweet person. I moved from Indian Mound in 2018. Sometime late summer or early fall I drove out of my way to drop soda cans behind NSV next door to the Lil’ Red Wag Inn on my way to Fort Campbell. I stop at the Inn to visit Susan & the girls. Joanne was the only one in the office at the time and everyone else was busy, but Joanne & I had a nice visit. She caught me up on the happens at the Inn & Stewart County friends. I’ll also remember her nice smile. Prayers for her family, her pets, and her friends. We’ve lost another friend, but heaven has gained an animal loving Angel.
