Joan and I spent many years together working in animal rescue. I would go out with her to investigate complaints and examine animals. Her heart was always with taking care of her dogs over the years. The dog in the photo is Snow White. Her nose and face is swollen due to a snakebite out on Joan's place. I will remember Joan for her hard work and compassion for the animals.
