Iva Burkhart, age 77 of Big Rock, TN was called home February 16, 2022 at her residence with her loving family by her side. She was born April 9, 1944 the beloved daughter Jack Turner and Evelyn Gillum Turner. Iva had a love for children and worked as a substitute teacher. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and loyal friend to many. She enjoyed having her family and friends gather together in her home making memories dancing and listening to music.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sisters; Lois Penely and Enna Smith, brothers; Charles Turner and Kenneth Turner.

Those left behind to cherish her memory, her loving and devoted husband of 58 years; Nick Burkhart, son; Brian (Stephanie) Burkhart, daughter; Margaret (Keith) Grizzard, grandchildren; Daniel Grizzard, Zachary Grizzard, Jenna Green, Megan Nunez, great grandchildren; Olivia Nunez and Ryder Grizzard. Special loved friends; Maria Gann, Lequita Sheilds, Tijuana Corcoles, and Sam Owens.

Visitation will be Monday, February 21, 2022 at 11:00 am and continuing until the hour of the funeral service at 1:00 pm at Anglin Funeral Home, Dover, TN with Bro. Joe Shannon officiating. Burial will follow at the Smith Cemetery, Big Rock, TN. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
