Obituary for Heather Lynn Smith Mathis
Heather Lynn Smith Mathis, age 50 of Dover, TN went to be with the Lord May 10, 2021. She was born January 30, 1971 the loving daughter of Jimmy and Patsy Smith. Her work history was as a teacher’s assistant, she devoted her career to children; she loved her students and they loved her dearly.
She was preceded in death by her precious daughter, Kayla Smith and sister, Daleen Waynick.
She is survived by her parents, Jimmy and Patsy Smith; children; son, Joshua Smith, daughter, Jamie Smith; brother, Joshua Smith; niece, Bethany Riggins; nephews, Ricky Riggins, Jaxon Smith: husband, Mike Mathis, and many other family and friends.
A graveside service will be Friday, May 14, 2021 at 10:30 at Smith Haven Cemetery, 337 Walker Ridge Rd., Big Rock, TN with Bro. Del Morgan officiating the service. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
