Mr. Eugene Singer, age 89 of Stewart, TN, passed away Monday, July 22, 2019 at his residence. He was born April 17, 1930 in Davidson County, Tennessee, son of the late Charles and Katie Mae Nocton Singer. Eugene was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Dover, a Korean War Veteran, a butcher at Neuhoff Packing Co., Union Stewart, and retired from Ford Motor Company glass plant.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his first wife Mary Jane Russell Singer, second wife Sarah Alice Howse Singer, eight brothers, and a sister.
Survivors include his daughter Cathy Singer (Todd) Rowlett, Stewart, TN, grandchildren, Danny (Amanda) Thompson, Amanda (J.L) Presley, Savannah Keef, Loman Keef, and 6 great grandchildren.
A mass will be held at 9:00 am Friday, July 26th at St. Francis of Assisi with Fr. David Gaffny officiating. Burial will be 12:00 pm Monday, July 29th at Veteran’s Cemetery, Madison, TN. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm Thursday, July, 25th with a 7:00 pm Rosary at Anglin Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Mickey Singer, Chris Singer, Joe Singer, J.R Cryer, Jeff Fisher, Danny Thompson, Loman Keef, Ricky Watts, and Honorable pallbearers Harvey Hunter, Ronnie Hornbuckle, Wayne Simpson and all other nephews.
