Ms. Etta Swan, age 73 of Big Rock, TN was called home to be with the Lord on Monday, February 6, 2023 with her loving family by her side. She was born August 17, 1949 in Senath, MO the beloved daughter of the late Melvin and Ora Bell Morrison Mathis. Etta was a homemaker, who enjoyed having her family at home together, watching the great-grandchildren play in the front yard and making special memories. She enjoyed traveling across the country with her husband for many years. Etta attended the Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 54 years; Harold Swan and eight siblings.

She is survived by her loving family, son; Gregory Swan, granddaughters; Devin Espinoza and Fallon Dortch, great-grandchildren; Austin Dortch, Aurora Dortch, Valorie Espinoza and Victor Espinoza several nieces, nephews and extended family.

Visitation will be held Thursday, February 9, 2023 beginning at 1:00 pm and continue until the hour of the funeral service at 2:00 pm at Anglin Funeral Home with Bro. Joe Shannon officiating. Burial will follow at Stewart County Memorial Gardens. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
