Obituary for Edna Mae Earhart (Bumpus)

Edna Mae Earhart, age 87 died at Diversicare nursing home, June 15, 2020.
She was born June 20, 1932, daughter of the late Claude and Cecil Dennis Bumpus. Edna was a hair dresser, foster care provider, Sunday school teacher. She and husband, Freeman, had a gospel quartet and sang for over 25 years at numerous churches throughout Tennessee, Kentucky and Illinois. The family would like to thank her niece, Elaine Howell, for the ten and half years of care she provided to Edna.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Freeman, five brothers, and two sisters, granddaughter Tonya Swift, and great granddaughter Beth Borens. Survivors include one sister Joyce Compton (Charles), children, Larry Earhart (Brenda), and Diane Tishko (Dave), three grandchildren, Tim and Todd Borens and Derek Earhart, ten great grandchildren, five great-great grandchildren.
The funeral will be held at Pleasant Hill Freewill Baptist Church on Wednesday. June 17 at 3:00 pm with Pastor Phillip Chambers officiating and visitation will be from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm at Pleasant Hill Freewill Baptist Church with the burial to follow in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
In lieu of memorials, the family request donations to be made to Pleasant Hill Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery fund.
Arrangements are entrusted to Anglin Funeral Home, Dover, TN.
