Ms. Dixie Fitzhugh, age 83 of Dover, TN was called home to be with the Lord, December 14, 2021 at St. Thomas Hospital, Nashville, TN. She was born May 22, 1938 the beloved daughter of the late Leslie and Eliene Beaver. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great-great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to many. She loved working puzzles, reading and enjoyed spending time with her family and church friends. She was a faithful member of Walnut Grove Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband; Alrick Fitzhugh, son, Bertis Fitzhugh, brother; Leslie Beaver and granddaughter; Kristin Buie.

Those left to cherish her memories, sons; Larry Fitzhugh (Cheryl), Mark Fitzhugh (Lesa), daughters; Mary Washam, Loretta Miller (Danny), Karen Dennis (Ricky), Darla Compton (James), Donna Manners, sister Barbara Ferrell, 18 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Thursday, December 16, 2021 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Anglin Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will resume December 17, 2021 at 12:00 pm and continue until the funeral service at 2:00 pm at Anglin Funeral Home with Bro. Jonathan Hardison officiating. Burial will follow at Fitzhugh Cemetery, Dover, TN. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
