David Scott Sumner, age 52 of Big Rock, TN passed away Monday, January 23, 2023 at his home with his loving family by his side. He was born June 24, 1970 the beloved son of the late James Rodli and Thirlene Nash Sumner. David enjoyed being outside, riding in the creeks and hillsides on his four-wheeler with his brothers and friends. He also found pleasure and comfort playing his guitar.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son; Scott Mitchell Sumner and brother; Mike Sumner.

He is survived by his brothers; Ronnie Sumner (Shannon), Dwayne Sumner (Rhonda) both of Big Rock, TN, sister; Johana Singleterary (Bryant) of Big Rock, TN, grandson; Casey Sumner of Oklahoma City, OK, half-sister; Ann Ricci (Andy) of IN, several nieces, nephews and many dear friends.

Visitation will be Wednesday, January 25, 2023 beginning at 11:00 am and continuing until the hour of the funeral service at 1:00 pm at Anglin Funeral Home with Bro. William Gray officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Indian Mound, TN. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
