Obituary for David Earl Lemons
David Earl Lemons, age 68 of Indian Mound, TN entered his heavenly home, December 17, 2020. David was born November 18, 1952 in Granite City, IL son to the late Frank and Rose Lemons.
Survivors include his loving wife of 44 years, Billie Sue, his loving children, Kelli (Jerry Wayne) Miller, Ben (Traci) Lemons; grandchildren Emmaline Miller and Adria Lemons.
A celebration of life will be held Sunday, December 20, 2020 with visitation 11:00 am until the time of the service at 2:00 pm with Bro. Kenny Holland officiating. Burial will follow in the Welker Cemetery, Indian Mound, TN.
Those honoring as pallbearers are, Artie Gibbs, Chris Keatts, Randy Holland, Bill Edwards, Dwayne Perrigo and Russell Angus
David’s love, other than his family, was driving a truck. He had an exceptional sense of direction and seldom used a map or GPS. Often calling home and describing his location by a mile marker. He enjoyed talking on the phone to his friends about trucking and always searched for the best paying freight. He often said that Jesus would have him hauling something with a truck when he got to Heaven. Heaven has gained a trucker that will make his rounds talking to everyone.
